About Father Leonard - Father Leonard Carrieri is the spokesperson for this page. He was born in 1914 in Naples, Italy. He became a priest in 1936, earned a PhD in Theology from the University of Rome, served as a priest in South America, Camden NJ, and Linwood NJ. He served as a member of the Vatican II Council. He is also a sculptor.
Father Leonard Carrieri describes himself as "a man who always felt being loved, probably because I was an orphan at an early age, or for any other reason, relatives and everybody else around me loved me and always spoke very highly of my parents. My life has been highlighted by the Love I received from God in the Religious Order and in the Priesthood.
Why did I want this page at this time?  I have been consecrated to God  in Religious Life since 1930 and ordained into the Priesthood of Christ in 1936. More than ever I feel the need to witness to the love and support I received from God and the people I met in my life. Thanks to all of them. I am a sculptor and through sculpture I have learned to love the also the human body as God's masterpiece after the soul. Well, we will talk more about this later."
